As your running dietitian, I am passionate about performance nutrition and fueling properly for runs. My mission is to help you improve your running ability by creating personalized nutrition and fueling plans that work for you. I believe in a balanced approach to eating, where we work together to find the best foods to fuel your runs, while still enjoying the foods you love.

I'M AMY GOBLIRSCH

My name is Amy, you may also know me as The Running Dietitian. I was once an under-fueled runner who thought thinner = faster. I dieted in hopes of losing weight and running some big personal records (PRs). While dieting, running felt harder. I didn’t have more energy and I was definitely not running any PRs. I was tired all the time and could barely complete my workouts, much less live my life.

 

That all changed when my mindset went to fueled = faster.

 

I ditched dieting and haven’t looked back since. I’ve been on both sides and know how great running can feel when your body is fueled. My mission is to help you feel condfident with fueling your body and to have the energy to live your life.

I'VE BEEN IN YOUR SHOES.

I'VE RAN MARATHONS UNDER FUELED. I'VE RAN MARATHONS WHILE DIETING.

I DIDN'T REALIZE I COULD RUN A RACE AND NOT HIT THE WALL UNTIL I PRIORIZED FUELING MY BODY. 

I realized I couldn't keep on this same path. So I started searching for something that was more sustainable. Something that would allow me to eat foods that I enjoy without feeling guilty or the need to run more miles because I had ice cream. I wanted to stop thinking about food 24/7. I wanted to feel normal when it came to eating and I wanted to be able to run without feeling exhuasted all the time. 

 

I use my proven methods that helped me, along with countless of my clients, to feel empowered with fueling their bodies and knowing they never had to diet again to reach running goals. I help you stop obsessing about food, stop fearing food and start using food as a way to fuel your body.
